Silver (Solvent): to be mixed with oil or spirit-based binders.   In this case the powder is presented as small 'worms' that break down easily into the binder.
NB If using a water-based binder/medium see Bright Silver powder 

Treat as a pigment and mix with various binders to make the type of paint appropriate for the effect or for the surface it is to be applied to – eg mix with an oil to create a metallic oil paint; with a wax paint medium to make a gilding wax; with a spirit-based medium/binder/varnish to create a hard-wearing decorative paint.  

The finished effect of a paint made from these metal pigments has a truly metallic sheen (compared to a paint made from pearl pigments), reminiscent of metal leaf. 

Once combined with a binder the paint can be applied by almost any method, as desired.

PLEASE NOTE:
As these powders are made from base metals they may tarnish if not protected by the binder initially, or if necessary, a finishing sealing coat.

Health & Safety

• Care must be taken to avoid inhaling particles when handling these powders  
• Place the binder onto the mixing surface and carefully place the powders into the binder and mix gently.
• Once mixed, the resulting paint is safe.
