Due to the current Coronovirus outbreak, as of the 18th March, we will be operating full-time behind closed doors.
We consider this is the only way we can protect the health & safety of our small team and their families.
This does mean that the shop will not be open to casual shoppers for the next few weeks.
When you need to obtain supplies, please place an order online or phone 01438 814946.
If you are local you can phone to arrange an order for collection.
The order will be prepared, payment will be taken and the bag left on our doorstep for collection at a pre-arranged time
The online shop and mail-order service will continue as normal.

ART VAN GO started in 1989 but 'The Studios' has been the home of ART VAN GO since 2001
The Shop
The 'bricks and mortar' shop is packed full of creative materials for artists - far more than we will ever be able to put into an online shop. Pay us a visit on Friday or Saturday and you will discover all of the ranges - oil paints, watercolours, pastels, fine-art papers by the sheet and in pads, brushes, wires, metals, plastics, fabrics, textile art supplies and so much more. All of this, as well as the materials we list on the website, is available to browse through.
As of 1st January 2020 the building is open to shoppers on Friday and Saturday only. Access at other times is by appointment only - phone 01438 814946.
The Gallery
This is where we host a series of exhibitions of paintings, textile art, prints, drawings. We have held book-launches and charity auctions as well as group and solo exhibitions.
The Workshops
Workshops are held in the gallery space providing an inspirational place to work. The programme is varied and uses tutors and artists from all over the country.
All scheduled workshops have been cancelled for the time-being.
In Residence
The Gallery is also where where we hold the 'In Residence' days. One, two or three artists work in the gallery for a day to show visitors how they work
The Garden
We've had a garden since 2010. This offers a place to relax whether you are visiting the shop or attending one of the workshops.
